Spain’s Andalucia Registers 1,695 New Cases of Covid-19

Andalucia has registered 1,695 new infections from coronavirus and nine more deaths.

According to the latest figures issued by the Ministry of Health and Families on the progress of the coronavirus pandemic, Andalucia has registered 1,695 new cases of contagion in the last 24 hours, raising the accumulated total to 95,381. A further nine deaths have also been registered, increasing the accumulated figure to 2,169.

The province of Sevilla remains at the top of the list of new infections with 443 in the last 24 hours. Granada has 377, Jaén -212, Malaga – 206, Córdoba – 164, Almería – 127, Cádiz – 92 and Huelva – 74. As far as deaths are concerned, during the last 24 hours, the province of Granada has registered three, Jaén two and Almería, Cádiz, Huelva and Sevilla, one per province.

It must also be mentioned that it is all not bad news and that people do recover from the disease!  Over the last 24 hours, the number of discharges have actually increased by 101, reaching a cumulative total of 41,895.
