Meghan and Harry won’t spend Christmas with the Royals

MEGHAN and Harry have decided they won’t spend Christmas with the Royals in Sandringham.

The Duke and Duchess of Susses are reportedly ‘looking forward’ to spending Christmas in their new home, a $14 million mansion in Montecito, California.

This will be the second the holiday seasons the pair have spent away from the other royals, having reportedly spent last year with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and their son Archie in Canada.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl of Vanity Fair reported that the couple are excited to spend their first American Christmas with their son in California, and will travel to the UK shortly before New Year; this will allow them enough time to isolate before Meghan’s case against the Mail on Sunday begins in the High Court on January 11.

Sources said Prince Harry had no plans to cross the Atlantic any time soon because of the Covid-19 crisis.

Another source told Nicholl that the couple may also be glad of an excuse to avoid possible tensions with Harry’s family.

“Let’s just say that while things are better between Harry and his brother, it’s not what it was, and I don’t think anyone is ready for a cozy family Christmas right now,” the source said.
