THE Fair in San Pedro de Alcantara is recognised as the last major fair of the summer on the Costa del Sol and over the last few years it has coincided with exceptionally wet weather which ahs seen stall holders having their rents refunded and the police having to close the fair down due to the mud and potential danger.
Ironically, this year it has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic yet the weather has been exceptionally mild with no rain and plenty of sunshine and the fest of San Pedro Alcantara saw yet another holiday for those living and working in the town.
