Breaking: Little Mix The Search live TV show pulled after production crew test positive for COVID-19

Little Mix’s first live BBC show has been cancelled after members of the production crew tested positive for COVID-19.

BBC bosses made the decision to ‘postpone indefinitely’ the live shows, hosted by comedian Chris Ramsey, for the safety of everyone involved. It is still hoped that it can return to screens by Saturday, October 24, now that everyone who tested positive with COVID-19 is self-isolating.

A statement released by the BBC on social media said: “We can confirm that a small number of people on the Little Mix The Search production have tested positive for coronavirus and they are now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines.

“Due to the format of the show, we have made the decision to postpone Saturday’s programme. There are rigorous protocols in place to manage Covid-19 as the safety of all those involved in the production is paramount. We hope to be back on air on Saturday 24th October.”
