Almeria provincial council investing in rural road improvements

ALMERIA provincial council is investing more than €220,000 in resurfacing and improving seven lanes in Sorbas, Tahal and Maria.
Development deputy Oscar Lira said the projects affecting seven kilometres of road in all will create better access to rural properties and to farms in the three municipalities.
Liria said the initiatives are part of the Almeria administration’s “commitment” to “speeding up public works” in order to “socially and economically reactivate the province” under its “Acelera” programme.
According to the Dipuaction the programme will indirectly and directly create 4,300 jobs.
