New role for disused Benidorm building

BENIDORM’S mayor Toni Perez introduced a delegation of Plaza de España and Alfredo Corral residents to the neighbourhood’s new council offices.
The future Extension Administrativa in Calle Maravall is located in the former Casa de Andalucia building which was acquired by the town hall last year.
Rehabilitating the building will take around five months and once it is ready for occupation the area’s residents will no longer need to visit the town hall for municipal paperwork or procedures, Perez pointed out.
The spacious premises would also become a meeting place for local groups and associations, the mayor confirmed.
