Phillip Schofield Breaks His Seven Months’ Silence Over Divorce Claims

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD has broken his social media silence following claims he is set to amicably divorce his wife, Stephanie Lowe, seven months after he came out as gay.

ITV This Morning host, Phillip Schofield, took to Instagram to share a picture of his family out together for a meal. The presenter’s post is his first since reports claimed he has been having discussions with his long-term wife Stephanie about a divorce. In the snap below, Phillip could be seen beaming for the camera opposite his wife Steph at a dinner table.

In a change on his social media page, the host noticeably kept comments off his latest snap to stop fans from sharing their thoughts. A source said: “Phillip and Steph have had a lot of hard, painful conversations over the past 10 months but remain as tight and devoted to one another as ever. She has been so supportive, and he won’t skip off into the sunset now and abandon her. At the same time, he has no desire to become embroiled in a bitter and costly divorce battle.”

New bachelor pad

The TV presenter is also claimed to have purchased a €2.24 (£2m) bachelor house in west London. According to reports, the 58-year-old has been spotted by neighbours enjoying bike rides with his co-star and close chum Holly Willoughby already, who is thought to live nearby. His new pad which is closely situated to the River Thames is believed to be a large semi-detached house that comes with a hefty price tag attached.

It seems that Philip is surrounding himself by other TV celebrities such as his on-screen partner in crime and the likes of Declan Donnelly who lives in the surrounding area too.
