AN Almeria farmer has managed to produce an enormous pumpkin weighing nearly 457 kilos, smashing the Andalucia record for the vegetable in the process. Manuel Planells’ giant pumpkin is currently on show at the provincial capital’s Central Market along with its ‘baby brother’, which weighs in at a mere 130 kilos.
