HECTOR MORALES, the councillor responsible for Teumo Serveis, thanked its employees for their past and present work.
Municipally-owned Teumo Serveis is responsible for Teulada-Moraira’s street cleaning and rubbish collection services and Morales stressed the importance of its public nature.
The councillor also revealed that Teumo plans to take on more personnel giving preference to the long-term unemployed, the over-52s, single parents and gender-violence victims.
“Generating employment is an important tool in ensuring social justice and the defence of the weakest,” Morales declared.
