THE fire which destroyed Laguna Village in Estepona has seen at least 200 people out of work and the mayor of the town promising to speed up approval for its rebuilding.
The owner of one property on the site, Puro Beach Club, young Andalucian entrepreneur Rosauro Varo is said to be worth at least €140 million following sales of Pepephone and 2,000 licences to Cabify.
Although he lives in Madrid, he and his partner also own a property in Marbella and it is expected that he will use some of his funds to help rebuild Laguna Village.
