EWN has just received some shock news as the popular El Oceano Hotel and Restaurant in La Cala de Mijas on the Costa del Sol have announced that they will stop their summer season early.

A press release from the El Oceano Hotel said “It is with great regret that – in light of the current flight restrictions and quarantine – El Oceano Hotel has taken the unprecedented decision to wind up the 2020 season, on Monday September 14, until April next year.”

The statement went on to say that “We wish to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to all those who were able to join us for this brief season and for your continued support!”

“It’s been great seeing you all” Sunday September 13 will be our ‘finale’ and we think it’s going to be quite a special Sunday! There aren’t many tables left, but if you’d like to say ¡Nos vemos pronto! with us, get in touch!”

They finished up by wishing their guests well and a gesture of hope for the future
“Stay safe everyone! We’re looking forward to welcoming you in April 2021!!”
