The XIII National Contest of Monologues is coming back to Santa Pola, in what will bring smiles and laughter to those that purchased tickets back in March. THE Youth and Culture Councils announced that the fun contest, which they have been busy trying to bring back following its suspension in mid-March, will be returning in September. The laugh out loud event will take place in the Auditorium El Palmeral, moving from the original location of the House of Culture following the Covid-19 crisis and subsequent state of alarm, and will host the semi-final on Friday, September 18 and the final on Friday, September 25. Last year’s winner, comedian Jose Luis Buitrago, will be participating at the event. Those who bought tickets for the shows in March will be able to exchange them during the days of September 7 to 11 at the Casa de Cultura, and this will give them preferential seats at the new venue. Tickets will be available to the general public from Monday, September 14.
