LAST WEEK the Age Care Association, Mijas Costa Branch offered a special homage to Anette Skou, who recently retired after working for more than 35 years as coordinator of the Mijas Foreigners Department.

“We would like to thank Anette and the Foreigners Department for all the collaboration and work during these years”, commented Tom Tarr, Age Care Vice-President “ Together we have been able to help many foreigners in Mijas in difficult situations over the years and we would like to wish Anette all the best in her retirement ”

Anette responded, “I would like to thank Age Care, Mijas Costa Branch for arranging this lovely homage for me, it has been a pleasure to work and collaborate with all of you, Age Care is very important to the Foreign Community in Mijas and the Foreigners Department will keep this good collaboration of which from now on Councillor Arancha López and Katja Thirion will be in charge.”
