Despite August being a quiet month, the Giving4Giving shops have still managed to make four €1,000 donations to charity. THE giving started with the Fransiscan Shelter for Men in Gandia, with Gary presenting the money to Dino from We Love Albir who does a lot of work with the shelter, before a further €1,000 was donated to the Red Cross in Altea. CREDIT: Giving4Giving “We then donated to Rainbow animal charity who normally raise money through events but obviously can’t do them at the moment so are struggling for cash,” explained Gary, adding: “and lastly to Alfaz del Pi social services for food and supplies for less fortunate people.” CHEQUE: Rainbows presentation. CREDIT: Giving4Giving Giving4Giving have now raised a total of €170,000 in the last seven years and “are looking forward to donating more in September”. “A special thanks to all our volunteers for their support during these difficult times and of course our customers and the generous people who donate,” said Gary.
