A distraught mother in Spain’s Costa Blanca has made an appeal to find and reprimand the grown men who verbally abused her nine disabled children. The mother was left in shock after a pair of male adults climbed up the wall of her holiday home simply to insult her family.
The incident occurred in La Marina Urbanisation, Alicante at around 1.00pm. The mother has nine children, all adopted, with severe disabilities and she was hoping to spend a lovely holiday in her home in Alicante.
The two men, one of which she claims was a British national, climbed up the wall of her villa and began shouting abuse. The abhorrent men began shouting “Shut the **** up!” as well as “**** off!” This ableist hate crime has not gone down well with the community in Costa Blanca. Many residents are ashamed of the actions of these men and send their condolences to the family who has had to endure this kind of treatment.
One concerned resident, Jenny Collins, has expressed that, although she doesn’t know the mother, she is “one special lady” and her “children are so lucky” to have her. She sends her condolences and assures that there “are horrible people around who have done this” to her family. The hunt is now on to find this pair of horrible men, who are suspected to live nearby.
