ACCORDING to Oscar Wilde, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness” which seems to sum up the way in which certain Other Publications have tried to hi-jack a long-standing phrase used by Euro Weekly News.

Those who have been reading the paper for more than two decades can confirm that the slogan “We Lead, Others Follow” has been the clear message promoted by EWN for many years.

In this case therefore never a truer phrase has been uttered and those who have misappropriated it would be more believable if they came up with their own tag line.
