Moto madness at illegal races

Circuits: Illegal races are becoming more and more common. Credit: Twitter

RESIDENTS of an area of Torre del Mar have complained that its streets have become an illegal racing circuit for months.

The residents have affirmed that “there are a series of cars and especially motorcycles, this happens every day and almost at any time. I do not understand how a residential area can be used as racing circuits.”
This area is on the outskirts of Torre del Mar, its streets are wide and there is not a lot of traffic.
Residents report that excessive noise, loud exhausts, and illegal racing occur almost daily. Therefore, they believe that putting speed bumps in the area would be a solution. “If they placed speed bumps before the zebra crossings, these bikers would not be able to run and therefore there would not be as much noise.”
These facts have been brought to the attention of the Policia Local, so far there has been no solution.
