Contact with family members will be by phone or videoconference. New visitor admissions are also suspended in nursing homes and disability homes in these three areas, along with the districts of Murcia. Although for the moment, Salud has not detected any positive in the elderly centres in the region, they want to take these measures because it is a high-risk population.

Councilor Villegas also announced that there are four workers at the Hospital de la Vega Lorenzo Guirao de Cieza who have tested positive for COVID -19, who are joining the patient who also tested positive this Friday.

In a first PCR test, it was found that health personnel were positive. However, the repetition of the test by the health workers gave a negative result. The outbreaks of Cieza and the Atalayas area in Murcia are the ones that concern the Health Ministry the most.
