Water Company Gives Money and Computers to Costa del Sol Associations

THE water company Acosol, thanks to its social action program, has made a donation of €500 to the Istan Association Belleza del Agua as well as five computers for use by different local groups.

The cheque and computers were formally presented to the Istan Council by the CEO of the water company and the Council thanked Acosol, explaining that  due to the state of alarm many groups, especially those involving elderly people have had their activities curtailed so the money will be welcome to allow for days out to be arranged.

Also, the donation of the computers was most timely as those previously given by Acosol had become outdated and obsolete so this gift was also warmly welcomed by the town which recognised that all during lockdown, water had been literally on tap without any stoppage.
