Covid-19: Over a Hundred Active Outbreaks and Cases in the Last 24 Hours

THE Ministry of Health has just published the updated figures for the coronavirus crisis in Spain. In the last 24 hours, 164 people have been infected.

The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in Spain has increased to a total of 28,406, which is three more deaths since the last updated figures provided by the Ministry of Health. According to this data, there have been seven deaths in the last week.

As for the total number of total Covid-19 infections in Spain, there have already been 255,953 cases since the first case of coronavirus was registered on the island of La Gomera on January 31.

So far, the total number of people who have required hospitalisation amounts to 125,751 (146 in the last week), and 11,716 have gone through the ICU (eight in the last days).

There are also many active outbreaks across the nation, over a hundred, but the Minister of Health has assured that this is a normal consequence of the new normality and that all of the outbreaks are under control.
