THE owner of popular café/bar Snack Attack in La Cala de Mijas, Rob Owen appeared on BBC1 News to talk about what British tourists might expect once they are allowed back into Spain.

He gave a very constructive response, simply explaining how the new normality affected the catering industry and despite suggestions that he would have to keep an eye on British drinkers, he explained how his staff were trained to cope with both social distancing and over excited visitors.

It would appear that the presenters of the news programme didn’t understand that his property is not a traditional front line British bar but is an establishment primarily serving food with a bar area.

A good piece of positive promotion for the Costa del Sol

The owner of Snack Attack, Rob, also owns Bar Tutta, a local front line bar, two doors down from his cafe! So he is able to give a constructive view of both premises!
