Piers Morgan apologises to Dizzee Rascal on Twitter

After a car crash of an interview on Good Morning Britain, where Piers Morgan was totally shut down by Dizzee Rascal after Piers asked him about his views on the recent Black Lives Matter protests, Piers tweeted what looks like a heartfelt apology.

His tweet read: “UPDATE: I’m so sorry for asking Dizzy about #Blacklivesmatter.  It was shameful of me to raise such an irrelevant issue and he was quite right to shut me down and refuse to talk about it. My humble apologies.”

The tweet has since been inundated with over 4,000 comments, ranging from, “well done and thank you Piers for being the bigger man,” to “Does nobody get the fact that this tweet is sarcasm at its best?”
