Almuñecar Aqua Tropic Water Park to open this Saturday with new health measures in Spain’s Axarquia

THE councillor for Tourism and Beaches of the Almuñécar Town Hall, Daniel Barbero, has visited the Aqua Tropic water park in Almuñecar before its opening that will take place this Saturday, June 27, “to find out” in situ “the novelties and security measures adopted for the direction of the centre for this summer against the Covid-19, since it becomes the first park in Andalucia to open its doors to the public,” said Barbero.

The Aqua Tropic park, which is the only one on the peninsula with an ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality and Environment certificate and that its attractions operate with salty and treated water, becomes the most important summer attraction in the area for tourism, which is demonstrated by the visits of tens of thousands of people to the facilities.
