MORAIRA’S health centre reopened at the beginning of this week.

It was closed shortly after the State of Alarm decree and Marina Salud, which provides the Marina Alta’s healthcare, announced that it has reopened, while scrupulously observing all health measures required by the national and regional governments.

The Moraira centre now opens on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week between 8am and 8pm, although the paediatrician is based in Teulada only.

Appointments must always be made beforehand on 965 739 080.

This same timetable applies to emergencies but patients requiring emergency attention outside these hours should go to the Teulada health centre where there is a 24-hour A & E service.

As Wednesday, June 24, is a public holiday, the Moraira centre will be closed throughout the day but emergencies will be attended in Teulada.
