Cruz Roja Nerja are distributing cards loaded with credit for families with basic needs in Spain’s Axarquia

Members of Cruz Roja in Nerja have made a second batch of Tarjetas Monedero, which are cards loaded with credit so that families in need can buy basic items like food, hygiene products and cleaning products in supermarkets and local stores.

THE delivery of these cards began last week and can be requested at Servicios Sociales Comunitarios or at any Cruz Roja headquarters.

The cards are recharged monthly with an amount proportional to the number of people that make up the family, said amount being €150 for one person, €200 for two or three and €250 for four or more.
