Spain: What Life Looks Like in Galicia after Exiting Lockdown

GALICIA was the first region in Spain to exit one of the harshest lockdowns in Europe this week.

Although most restrictions have now been lifted, life is not quite the same for Galicians.

Learning to live with the risk of coronavirus, at least for the short term, has brought about quite a lot of changes to this beautiful part of Spain.

To minimise the risk of infection, residents are not able to travel outside the region and face masks are mandatory, as they are in the rest of Spain.

However, children are now allowed to visit parks and bars and cafes are open with 75 per cent occupancy.

Although a little different, life has more-or-less returned to as it was before we’d heard the word ‘coronavirus.’
