Spain’s Monarchy Fears Further Royal Family Secrets Could Be Exposed if New Memoir is Published

Spain’s monarchy fears that further family secrets could be exposed if the memoirs of Manolo Prado and Colón de Carvajal are published.

THE memoirs are authored by the Former Partido Popular (PP) Minister, Manuel Pimentel, who now presents an archeology programme on Spain’s TVE. He was also the private administrator of the former King, Juan Carlos I, for more than 20 years, according to Moncloa. The possible publication of these memoirs is causing alarm in Madrid because Pimentel has already published memoirs about Queen Letícia’s ex-husband, Alonso Guerrero, around two years ago. The play, entitled The Love of Penny Robinson, reviewed his relationship with the current queen, in some detail.

This time round, however, Pimentel could expose potentially “shady” dealings between the former King and the Middle East, that the Royal Family would probably prefer not to share with the country, or world.
