Help for Those in Need in Costa del Sol as Charities Receive Grants from Council and Bank Foundation

Two local charities received financial help Estepona Council

ESTEPONA mayor, José María García Urbano, presented grants on behalf of the council and Obra Social ‘La Caixa’ worth €10,500 to representatives of the Association of Disabled People of Estepona (ASDIES) and Caritas.

Caritas which means love is the Catholic relief charity which has been prominent in helping those in need during the Covid-19 pandemic and received €6,000 which will be used to pay for glasses, to buy food and to pay the electricity bills of people without resources.

ASDIES was given €4,500 which will be used towards paying technical staff.

The mayor thanked both organisations for the work that they undertake to help those in need in Estepona.
