Library Hours

Almueñecar’s Jesus Serrano library has extended its opening hours and customer service times in accordance with the beginning of Phase 3 in Granada. The opening hours are now 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.and 5:00p,m, to 9:00p.m. from Monday to Friday. They will also open on Saturday mornings from 9:30a.m. to 1:30p.m.

Food Bank

The Velez-Malaga Town Hall has provided 90,000kg of food products to the municipal food bank. The donated food and cleaning products will go towards the most vulnerable families who will benefit from this added help. This new acquisition has only been possible thanks to the €493,000 municipal contingency fund which was activated due to the emergency circumstances created by the coronavirus crisis.

Consumer Information

The Consumer Information office in Alumeñecar will be re-open to attend to the public on June 11. The office will be open, every Thursday, at the Casa de la Juventud (on Calle Teatro Edificio Coliseo) and they will only take pre-booked appointments which can be scheduled by calling 95883860 or emailing omic@almunecar.es.
