Lockdown has not only been hard for humans, as social distancing has also taken a toll on animals. This heartwarming video shows a donkey in Costa del Sol’s Malaga crying with happiness at the sight of his owner after having been apart for over two months.

THE owner, Ismael Fernandez, posted this video on Facebook showing the reaction of his donkey, Baldomera, after seeing him again after so long. The reunion is emotional as both Ismael and Baldomera are tearing up when seeing each other again.

In the post Fernandez says, “I am not embarrassed that you can hear my cry, because this is a demonstration of one of the most unconditional loves that exist.” He also expressed that he on his way he was constantly worrying and preparing himself to accept that the Baldomera may no longer recognise him.
