AS far as Take That fans are concerned, at least one good thing has come out of the pandemic and this is the news that they are reforming with Robbie Williams for the four of them to put together a virtual charity concert.
Sounds Simples (as the meerkats say) but it will take some considerable expertise to transmit on the Compare the Meerkat YouTube and Facebook channels at 8pm (9pm in Spain) on Friday May 29.
It’s a charity special with funds raised being shared between two groups music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins and Crew Nation, who are helping to support concert crew during the coronavirus outbreak.
There is no news of Jason Orange and it is assumed that he will not be taking part but for many fans, the return of Robbie to perform Take That’s greatest hits with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald is the most important news for ages.
Due to lockdown, they will all be performing from home so don’t expect slick dance routines and costume changes but with nearly 30 years of working together and their natural talent, this will be a must for their fans.
At the moment, it is assumed that the presentation will be free, but things may change so keep visiting the Meerkat Music site for updates
