Spain’s Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice in Benalmadena holds successful ‘WalkaHOME’ event to raise funds in the Costa del Sol

ON Saturday, May 9, Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, Benalmadena, held its ‘Walk at home for Cudeca – WalkaHOME’ to raise funds to care for people with cancer and other advanced illnesses.

There were 1,140 participants on the ‘Walk’ performing different types of exercises from their homes and more than €11,000 was raised.

During the event, Cudeca Hospice showed through its channel on YouTube, Yoga, Pilates, GAP, music shows, an interview with a famous chef, and a raffle with excellent prizes donated by famous athletes and well-known companies. The walk was presented by actor Salva Reina and make-up artist Luisa Machen.

During the morning, the participants had different types of classes of Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Stretching, Cardio and Gap. Then there were interviews, music shows and entertainment during the afternoon featuring Diez Negritos, Revoluta / Free Soul Band and Dry Martina.
