NEW ROADS: Included in the TM Grupo’s development, credit: Benidorm town hall
TWO roads connecting the Poniente beach and Avenida Alcalde Vicente Perez Devesa are now open to traffic. They are included in the TM Grupo’s 60,000-square metre development on land that has been zoned to build residential and hotel properties as well as the two roads linking the Poniente beach promenade with Via Parque. One road runs parallel to the Las Lomas urbanisation while the other follows the site of the former Camino Rajarell. Both of the new roads are joined by a third. The two principal roads have bicycle lanes that are three metres wide, while the town hall has planted more than 300 trees, 40 of which were saved from other sites.
