Calle Núñez de Balboa, in the Salamanca district, has seen some of the worst riots in its history tonight, After four days of street protests against Pedro Sánchez, the National Police has been deployed shortly before 19:30 between Don Ramón De la Cruz and Ayala streets to ensure that the protesters respect safety distances and go back to their homes.
Reports say that the first protester appeared on the street with a loudspeaker at 8pm tonight:
“Joaquín Ariza called me and I challenge you, Pedro Sánchez. Get out of the Moncloa ”.
The scream was supported by applause from a couple of neighbours, but above all by about twenty television cameras that rushed to record the moment. Before the commotion, the officers limited themselves to telling a group of onlookers not to stand on the street, and Joaquín continued to yell with his loudspeaker. A man from flat number 65 in the street, dressed in a suit, followed the disturbing scene from a distance: “ Have I ever seen anything like this? Never on this street ”
The troubles continue across the city, check back later for updates and possible videos.
