Stress levels spike as lockdown restrictions are eased in the UK

A study claims stress levels have spiked in Britain amid rumours politicians are preparing to start easing coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

MANY people have seemingly become concerned they will be more likely to catch Covid-19, according to researchers at UCL who surveyed more than 80,000 adults.

They claim people living with children were among those with the highest levels of anxiety.

Ministers reportedly plan let healthy over-70’s be released from lockdown with the rest of the UK after concerns over potential ‘social unrest’ grows if the elderly are forced to endure longer coronavirus restrictions than the rest of the population.
