BYLAW CHANGED: Exterior lifts okayed in Torre del Mar, credit: Dguendal
VELEZ-MALAGA Town Hall recently gave the go-ahead to install an exterior lift in Calle Princesa in Torre del Mar. “In 2018 we modified bylaws to allow outside lifts, which until then were not permitted in public areas,” explained Velez-Malaga mayor Antonio Moreno Ferrer. “We are responding to a long-standing request from residents as we did in the case of the San Valentin apartment blocks in Torre del Mar,” Moreno Ferrer said. “This means that residents who, because of their age or through mobility problems, can now have an improved quality of life.”
