PM Boris Johnson will be back at Downing Street on Monday after recuperating at home following his release from St Thomas’ Hospital in London where he was treated for coronavirus.
According to reports, he held a three-hour summit meeting with Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab – who has been standing in for him – and Chancellor Rishi Sunak on Friday ahead of his comeback.
He looks set to host Monday’s daily Downing Street coronavirus press conference and is likely to take on new Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer at prime minister’s questions on Wednesday.
