THE Youth department’s English Conversation Club, which began earlier this year, continues via videoconference. Those interested in taking part, aged between 12 and 35 can register at juventud@lalfas.com said the Alfaz’s Youth councillor Laura Sevilla. “They will be split into groups of five with sessions each Tuesday and Thursday evening, using Zoom,” Sevilla explained. Should there be a large response, more sessions will be added on other days, she said. The Conversation Club, run by Ricardo Barreno, will help members’ fluency in English while introducing them to people of all nationalities and backgrounds, the councillor said.
