Malaga firefighters rescue 66-year-old woman from burning building on Spain’s Costa del Sol

FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a woman this morning (Friday) after the fire in her apartment in Malaga City. The fire has taken place around 6am in a seven-storey block, located on Avenida de la Aurora. Neighbours alerted 112 to the presence of a lot of smoke, although they did not need to see flames. They also indicated that at least one person was trapped inside the house.

Health emergency personnel attended with Local Police who rescued a 66-year-old woman who was then transferred to the QuirónSalud Hospital in the city.

As for the apartment, it has been damaged throughout as a result of the fire.
