No influx. Eastervisitors stayed away from Calpe
A TOTAL of 5,367 people were stopped and identified in Calpe over the Easter holidays. This resulted in 89 official complaints for flouting lockdown restrictions during the State of Alarm, Local Police representatives reported during the last meeting of the Crisis Committee. There was no influx of visitors from other regions or municipalities and the town’s beaches, parks and gardens remained empty, officers said. Those now facing fines fell principally into two age-groups of those aged between 30 and 40 and 70, they added.
