Child found alive but emaciated six years after she vanished

A CHILD who vanished six years ago has been found alive but emaciated in a hotel room in Madisonville, Texas.

FBI agents tracked down Penelope Inks who had been abducted by her mother Heather in 2014, when she was 11-years-old.

Penelope reportedly weighed 74 pounds and had been surviving on Dr Pepper and sweets.

She is now in care of child protective services, and once mental and physical health assessments are carried out, will be returned to her father, Kevin Inks.

Penelope’s nude model mother Heather reportedly ran away with the youngster after her father was granted sole custody, and used a number of aliases over the years to avoid being caught by police searching for the child.

The child’s father hired Klein Investigators and other agencies launched inquiries.

Penelope was rescued after a woman with an alias known to be used by her mother called police to say her ex-husband was trying to poison her.

After tracing the call, investigators found the teenager abandoned and starving at a Days Inn hotel.

Heather Inks has been arrested and charged with kidnap. She is in custody awaiting her next court appearance.
