A GROUP of people having a ‘party’ were stopped by police who caught them drinking outside a house in Hardwick, Stockton-on-Tees during lockdown yesterday.
One man was arrested and taken away in an ambulance. The rest were ordered back to their homes.
Around 20 officers and four paramedics were despatched.
The PM Boris Johnson said people can only leave their homes to go to work, buy essential food items and medical supplies and to exercise once a day.
Flouting the rules, which include no gatherings of more than two people who do not live together, will be issued.
