Wildlife sees the Lockdown as an invitation to Explore on the Costa del Sol Spain

AS there is so much less traffic on the roads and people on the streets, wildlife which can sometimes be shy is beginning to make an appearance nearer to town centres.

The wild boar which have been regular visitors to Benahavis have now appeared in the Urbanisation of Los Naranjos which is part of Nueva Andalucia and close to Porto Banus.

Deer have been seen on at least one beach in the Estepona area and a large flock of Iberian Ibex (mountain goats) have been quite content to wander the road between Ojen and Monda.

The elephant on the beach at San Pedro seafront is still there and hasn’t wandered off.
