Germany’s Covid-19 Deaths and Cases are Falling in Major Boost to Virus Fight

GERMANY is seeing a fall in the Covid-19 death rate and overall infection numbers, which is matching the slowdown in Spain and Italy.

The latest figures released this Monday morning (April 6) show that the number of people who have died over the last 24 hours has risen by 92, which is the lowest increase for seven days.

The number of fatalities in Germany now stands at 1,434.

Another encouraging indicator was the news that the number of newly-recorded coronavirus cases has gone up by the smallest number since March 22.

German authorities said that the infections tally, now stood at 95,391, a rise of 3,677 on the last figures declared yesterday.
