Update from the 'Giving4Giving' charity in Costa Blanca, Spain

SINCE opening its doors, volunteers at Giving4Giving charity have raised and donated a staggering €165,000 to help and support local cancer charities and other worthy causes up and down the Costa Blanca through sales at the charity shops and warehouse and also organising various fundraising events. As a growing Charity, our goal this year was to reach, or even exceed the sum of €200,000 by Christmas.
In light of current events, we have had to temporarily close all our five shops and warehouse on March 14 to comply with current restrictions. May we take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to our fantastic team of volunteers and to all the wonderful people that support us by shopping in our stores or kindly donating items, without you all, none of this would be possible. Our team are keen and eager to return and continue once the restrictions are lifted, bigger, better and stronger and even more determined to achieve the €200,000 target.
Once we are open again, your kind donations can be dropped off at any of the charity shops located in La Nucia, Altea, Albir and Villajoyosa, alternatively, Gary can arrange a pickup service for larger items, covering all areas. The charity is also appealing for volunteers to join the team running the shops; if you enjoy meeting new people and would like to make a difference in the local community, please get in touch soon.
