Coronavirus cases more than double in one week on Spain’s Costa Almeria

THE number of coronavirus cases has topped 300 in Almeria, putting the total at more than double that of a week ago.
The Junta de Andalucia Health department reported on Friday that the provincial total for people testing positive for Covid-19 now stands at 301. This compares with 142 cases on March 27.
An additional 11 people have tested positive since Thursday. On the positive side, this compares with an increase of 28 in the previous 24 hours.
Tragically another two people have lost their lives to the virus. The provincial fatality total is now 20.
Of the current 301 confirmed cases in Almeria, 145 are being treated in hospital and 25 are in intensive care.
The number of people making a full recovery from the virus in the province has risen by three to 25.
