Canine hotel: credit Campello town hall
THERE is a solution for Campello health professionals, Policia Local officers and Proteccion Civil volunteers currently worried about their dogs. The Health and Public Safety departments announced that there are 25 places available at a local canine hotel for those whose jobs on the Covid-19 front line making it impossible for them to give their pets the attention they deserve. They are now assessing the requests for places, municipal sources said. “We decided to do this because we are lucky to be able to count on the extraordinary efforts made by our doctors, nurses, police, and volunteers who are risking their own health at this critical time,” the Rey de la Casa canine hotel explained. Aware that some of these professionals have dogs but cannot count on families or friends to look after them while they are working, Rey de la Casa if offering 25 free places “for as long as the situation lasts.”
