ALMERIA council has decided to incorporate bleach in the disinfecting washdowns underway in public places throughout the city.
The local authority issued assurances that a controlled amount of bleach is being used and that it will not affect animals following comments expressing doubts on social media.
The cleaning efforts are being intensified in locations with the highest numbers of people, notably around health centres, food shops, pharmacies and bus stops.
