Milan’s Swedish Football Star Zlatan Ibrahimovic Starts Fundraiser For Italian Hospitals to Help With The Coronavirus Crisis

Milan’s Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, announces on Instagram, that he has started a fundraiser to help Italian hospitals in the coronavirus crisis. So far, more than 100,000 euros have been donated.

Zlatan, by many considered as the greatest Swedish football player of all times, came back to Milan at the beginning of this year to finish his career as a player in the iconic Italian football club. Now he wants to give back to the country he loves, by giving support to the hospitals in the country in the fight against the contagious virus.

On Instagram, he says: “I want to give back even more to this country that I love. Together we can really help hospitals and doctors and nurses who selflessly work every day to save our lives. Because today we are the ones cheering for them! Let’s together kick the coronavirus away and win this match! And remember: If the virus don’t go to Zlatan, Zlatan goes to the virus!”
