BORIS JOHNSON released the latest set of coronavirus guidelines on Monday, but following his announcement his second in command has been suffering from covid-19 symptoms. Does this mean the Prime Minister and his pregnant partner Carrie Symonds are at risk after being in close proximity?
Epidemiologist Neil Ferguson announced he was suffering from Coronavirus symptoms today, hours after standing within close proximity of Boris Johnson
Yesterday, Johnson was joined by Chancellor Rishi Sunak who unveiled a significant lifeline for the economy and business.
During both appearances this week, Ferguson was on hand to offer his expert advice, but after announcing via his official Twitter account he is suffering from covid-19 symptoms, is the Prime Minister at risk?
He told his followers: “Sigh. I developed a slight dry but persistent cough yesterday and self-isolated even though I felt fine.
“Then developed a high fever at 4 am today. There is a lot of COVID-19 in Westminster.”
